Esquina is seeking a Demi Chef/Chef De Partie to join our big family. With an emphasis on a lively, modern and casual vibe that focuses on Spanish cuisine.
Job Description
Prepare menus in collaboration with colleagues
Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations
Prepare ingredients that should be frequently available (vegetables, spices etc.)
Follow the guidance of the executive or sous chef and have input in new ways of presentation or dishes
Put effort in optimizing the cooking process with attention to speed and quality
Enforce strict health and hygiene standards
Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation
Job Requirement
Minimum with graduated from Nitec/ Higher Nitec in Culinary Art or Diploma in Culinary School or Equivalent.
3 to 5 years of experience as Demi Chef/ Chef De Partie in a Fine-Dining Restaurant
Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes.
Excellent listening and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and work well in a team.
Knowledge of best practices for safety and sanitation.
