About the role

Sustenir Agriculture (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a reliable and experienced delivery driver to join our team. This is a full-time role based in the Choa Chu Kang West Region of Singapore. As a delivery driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering our high-quality produce to our customers across the region.

Reporting into: Operations Associate Manager

Working location: 76 Sungei Tengah Road, Singapore 699926

Salary Range: S$2,600 - S$2900

Responsibilities:

• Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day.
• Loads delivery vehicle with Fresh Goods scheduled for delivery.
• Make deliveries to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary.
• Maintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made.
• Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and reporting on the servicing schedule of the lorry.
• Complying with all safety and traffic regulations during delivery.
• Ability to take care of fresh goods during transit and ensure zero damage.
• Friendly and courteous towards customers.
• Demonstrate punctuality in deliveries.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Require Class 3 or Class 4 driving license (Salary will vary based on this).

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to drive safely.
• At least 2 years of experience as a delivery driver in the road transport industry.
• Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of the local road network and ability to plan efficient delivery routes.
• Ability to maintain basic logs and records.
• Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision.
• Able to always remain professional and courteous.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Education and Experience:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Holds a valid Class 3 license, Class 4 is an added advantage.
• Minimum 2 years experience in goods delivery and familiarise with route.
• Driving 12 ft chiller truck.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 25kg regularly.
• 5.5 days with Alternate Sunday half day delivery if required.
• Must be able to load and unload packages with and without trolley in various types of weather.
