About our group:

The Test Process and Engineering Analysis (TPEA) team is responsible for the design and development of HDD test processes and supporting new product launches for best-in-class Enterprise and Client classes of HDD with the latest cutting-edge technologies such as Heat Assisted Media Recording (HAMR) and Hybrid Shingled Media Recording. The TPEA team plays an important role in improving all HDD product metrics while keeping cost and quality on target using advanced recording methodologies, innovative HDD test processes, and Big Data analytics.

About the role - you will:

• Work with Regression Engineers to improve regression process validation.
• Interview Regression Engineers to understand engineering issues.
• Develop tools in Python to speed up issue classification.
• Develop reports & dashboards for regression validation and tracking systems.

About you:

• Some experience with Machine Learning / Generative AI development in Python.
• Basic knowledge in Data Engineering and Data Analytics.
• Basic knowledge in Database design.
• Basic knowledge in KNIME workflow.
• Basic knowledge in Report & Dashboard Design.
• Self-motivated, independent, and a team player.
• Enjoy research and knowledge sharing.

Location:

The Shugart site (named after Seagate’s founder, Al Shugart) is a research and design center. Easily accessible from the One-North MRT Station, many employees choose to take mass transportation to work.
