Data Protection Executive, Healthcare

What you'll be doing

• Assist in the implementation, monitoring, and tracking of data protection policies and compliance across the organisation

• Provide guidance to stakeholders on managing data incidents and breaches in accordance with regulatory requirements

• Conduct data protection impact and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities

• Respond to data-related requests and provide advice on improving data management practices

• Conduct regular data protection audits and collaborate with departments to integrate safeguards into business processes

• Deliver training sessions, briefings, and guidance to promote data protection best practices

• Address data protection queries from internal staff and external parties

• Stay informed of changes in data protection legislation, policies, and industry trends

• Support day-to-day department operations and administrative duties

• Undertake any other duties or projects as assigned by the supervisor

What we're looking for

• Bachelor Degree level

• 2 - 3 years of healthcare experience will be preferred

• Strong understanding of Singapore’s data protection laws, including the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and best practices

• Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

• Comfortable in public speaking and engaging with stakeholders across various levels

• Proactive, optimistic, and thrives when facing challenges

• Motivated to continuously learn and improve

• Diligent and reliable in completing tasks and adhering to timelines independently and as part of a team
