Data Analyst Manager, Contact Centre

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of data analysts

• Train and mentor junior staff in data analysis and reporting

• Implement tools and strategies to translate raw data into valuable business insights

• Develop, implement and maintain databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

• Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets and provide insights to help make business decisions

• Present data-driven recommendations to the executive team using statistical tools to interpret data sets and prepare reports for senior management

• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs

• Collaborate with different teams and stakeholders to understand data needs, identify opportunities for process improvement

• Manage and design the reporting environment, including data sources and security

• Oversee the collection, processing, and interpretation of large sets of data

• Develop and implement data analytics strategies that enhance business operations

• Ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget

• Maintain clear and coherent communication, both verbal and written, to understand data needs and report results

• Assess system performance and make recommendations for software, hardware, and data storage improvements

• Design and maintain data systems and databases; including fixing coding errors and related problems

• Ensure data integrity and compliance with relevant regulatory bodies and all data collection methods meet legal regulations and standards

Requirements:

• Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Data Analytics Manager or similar role

• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages, databases, and programming

• Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy

• Experience in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modelling) and data mining, would be advantageous

• Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative

• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
