Data Analyst

The successful incumbent will be responsible for establishing robust data processes (collecting, analysing, and interpreting) and maintaining data integrity in support of the company’s efforts towards leveraging high-quality data for decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Ensures accuracy, completeness and data integrity by performing data validation, cleansing and normalization procedures.
• Manages and updates databases, data warehouses and data repositories to ensure data accuracy, consistency and accessibility.
• Performs data migration and standardization.
• Implements data validation and verification procedures by performing regular data audits and quality assessments.
• Recommends process improvements and best practices in data management.
• Collaborates with outsourcing team on data processing.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to define data requirements and KPIs for analysis.
• Develops and maintains Power BI dashboards to transform raw data into actionable insights.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Business Analytics or equivalent.
• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in master data management or similar.
• Proficient in Excel, SQL and data analysis automation.
• MSSQL & PL/SQL development experience is advantageous.
• Demonstrates strong data analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in data visualization tool especially in Power BI for creating reports and KPIs.
• Knowledge of business processes especially in purchasing activities or supply chain.
