We specialise in the design and build of security operations centres for cybersecurity professionals and provide managed security services to strengthen the cybersecurity posture of our government and enterprise customers.

We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Pre-sales Consultant to develop a good working relationship with the sales team to identify and work on sales opportunities and drive them to closure. Together with sales, the incumbent is responsible but not limited to the following:

  • Execute the sales strategy, working with supporting business units within Cyber DBA to obtain support to assist the sales team in delivering the required results.
  • Be the technology and solution advisor with sound knowledge in the cybersecurity domain.
  • Act as a solution consultant who can speak to the security landscape, architectural models and solutions credibly, and possess the ability to discuss and present to senior members of a client team.
  • Conversant in solution design methodologies and security by design guidelines (e.g. Best Practices type of approaches) and have the ability to generate high-quality artifacts such as requirements artifacts, high-level and detailed designs, and deployment plans.
  • Have an understanding across a breadth of cyber technology domains which includes but is not limited to Network Security, Endpoint Security, Security Consulting, Incident Response, Threat Detection, and Managed Security solutions, and understanding the inter-relationships between major components.
  • Lead and shape client expectations.
  • Be a primary facilitator and lead large groups.
  • Help drive pursuits and engage in deals as a team, matching outcomes to expectations.

Requirements:

  • Preferably with 3 - 5 years of experience working in a pre-sales capacity related to the cybersecurity domain such as Network Security, Endpoint Security, Security Consulting, Incident Response, SIEM, Threat Detection, and Managed Security solutions.
  • Familiar with defence regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent knowledge of security solutions and technologies, including:
  1. Operating System, Network architecture/implementation/configuration experience.
  2. Network Security like next-generation firewall technologies, network detection and response technologies.
  3. Endpoint Security like anti-virus and EDR solutions.
  4. Cybersecurity anomalies detection and response like SIEM and SOAR.
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to prioritize and execute in a methodical and disciplined manner. Set and manage expectations with senior stakeholders and team members.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences, including being able to interact with senior executives.
  • History of creating rapport with customers at all levels.
  • Understand and be conversant about Cyber Security Domains.
  • Professional security-related qualification such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, GCIA, etc.
  • Comfortable working in a project-based/client-serving model.
