Cyber Security Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cybersecurity-related IT system implementation projects within a banking environment. The Cybersecurity Project Manager will lead all aspects of project initiation, planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and meets security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Initiation & Planning: Develop and manage detailed project plans for cybersecurity system implementations, including documentation, timelines, and budget. Lead the approval process and ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Coordinate and oversee the pre-study phase, including requirements gathering (business and system), scope definition, estimation, and scheduling.
2. Cybersecurity System Implementation: Oversee and manage the implementation of network and cybersecurity-related IT systems within the banking environment. Ensure compliance with all security protocols, standards, and regulations specific to the banking and financial industry.
3. Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Define roles and responsibilities for all project participants and stakeholders. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and third-party service providers. Ensure effective communication and collaboration between all parties involved in the project.
4. Risk & Change Management: Identify potential risks, create mitigation plans, and ensure proactive management of issues that may arise during project execution. Effectively manage any changes to the project scope, schedule, or resources.
5. Reporting & Documentation: Provide regular project status updates, including detailed reports on progress, risks, and achievements to management. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for future reference and audits.

Required Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in project management for cybersecurity and IT system implementations within a banking or financial institution for at least 5 years.
2. Strong understanding of network security protocols, cybersecurity principles, and risk management strategies.
3. Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
4. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
5. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. PMP, CISSP, or other relevant project management or cybersecurity certifications.
2. Experience with banking system implementation and integration.
3. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the banking industry.
