Cyber Security Engineer

We are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer with a wealth of experience in implementing and managing security solutions such as Network Security, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Endpoint Security, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM) to join our technical team.

Desirable: Candidates who have hands-on experience with Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA).

Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and manage security based on best practices.
2. Provide prompt technical support to rectify deployment issues faced.
3. Work effectively with IT teams with a proactive attitude to achieve common project goals.
4. Stay up to date with the latest security trends to recommend optimal security measures to clients.
5. Be open to opportunities to pick up new security solutions and technical skills to stay relevant with emerging technologies and cybersecurity trends.
6. Maintain comprehensive documentation and incident tracker across various projects.
7. Adapt and be open to changes in the cybersecurity landscape.

Education:

1. Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related fields.
2. Experience: At least 2 years in a cybersecurity role with deployment and management of security solutions.

Technical Skills:

1. Proficient in managing security solutions and providing clear explanations to clients.
2. Strong understanding of network security concepts and best practices.
3. Experience with deployment in different customer environments.
4. Exhibits strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Certifications (Preferred):

1. Zscaler related certifications (e.g., ZIA, ZPA).
2. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
3. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
4. Other relevant certifications.
