Customer Support Director (Aerospace)

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversees all aspects of the regional customer service experience and implements effective processes and procedures for Customer Support Managers to interact with customers.
• Responsible for achieving regional customer satisfaction which is measured through Airframer & Internal Scorecards.
• Set targets and objectives for the team and ensure understanding to create accountability to achieve the highest levels of support.
• Ensure that the regional customer support team works in line with operational requirements regarding order management to meet launch dates, quotes, and invoices produced to meet sales targets.
• Responsible for recruitment, mentoring, development, and creating a customer-focused environment within the team.
• Improve the customer service experience by taking ownership of escalated customer issues, investigating, and following them through to resolution.
• Build new and develop long-lasting relationships with customers.
• Analyze data to identify trends and areas of improvement.
• Serve as the focal point for performance claims: coordinate with warranty teams to validate claim data, negotiate settlements with customers, and track claims.

Requirements:

• Degree holders.
• At least 10 years of customer support, sales, and management experience in a commercial aerospace environment.
• Experience in lean principles and continuous improvement.
• Basic knowledge of sales management methodologies, proven ability to manage complex projects, and customer requests or concerns.
• Proficient in MS Project and MS Office programs.
