Looking for candidates available to work:

  • Monday: Morning, Afternoon, Evening
  • Tuesday: Morning, Afternoon, Evening
  • Wednesday: Morning, Afternoon, Evening
  • Thursday: Morning, Afternoon, Evening
  • Friday: Morning, Afternoon, Evening
  • Saturday: Morning

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role
  • Working rights required for this role

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Interface with customers to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
  2. Coordinate day-to-day activities between stakeholders to achieve smooth transactions and build excellent working relationships.
  3. Handle local & overseas as well as internal and external customer enquiries, addressing concerns and offering solutions.
  4. Serve as backup to internal support group.
  5. Set up customer database, process bookings, and execute pertinent orders.
  6. Manage shipping documentation (import/export) formalities efficiently to ensure accuracy and compliance with procedures.
  7. Maintain timely tracking status accuracy and schedules for all jobs.
  8. Maintain internal/external KPIs and SOPs to meet customer requirements.
  9. Perform any other ad-hoc functions mandated by Management.

Skills / Requirements:

  1. Import/Export experience in freight forwarding with leadership experience will be an advantage.
  2. Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven office environment.
  3. Knowledge of Import/Export regulations and documents.
  4. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  5. Understanding of profitability and loss and how to plan to drive growth.
  6. Exceptional customer service and follow-up skills.
  7. Responsible for booking, customs clearance, and communication with foreign agents.
  8. Coordinate with overseas and local branches for operation and rate issues.
  9. Develop new business from existing customers to increase business volume and contribute to company profits.
  10. Required to liaise with Mandarin speaking stakeholders from overseas; proficiency in Mandarin will be beneficial.
  11. Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.

Work Schedule:

5.5 days work week, 9am - 6pm (Mon - Fri), 9am - 1pm (Sat, work from home).
