Job Description: Container Depot Customer Service Executive

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Executive to join our team at a container depot in Singapore. This role is critical in ensuring smooth communication between customers, operations teams, and stakeholders while delivering exceptional service and managing depot-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Customer Support:
    Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and requests related to container storage, repairs, and logistics.
    Address and resolve customer complaints, escalating issues when necessary.
    Provide accurate and timely updates to customers regarding container status, movements, and repairs.
  2. Coordination and Operations:
    Liaise with operations, maintenance, and transportation teams to ensure efficient handling and processing of containers.
    Coordinate container inspections, repairs, and releases with relevant departments.
    Monitor and manage the movement of containers within the depot to meet customer and operational needs.
  3. Documentation and Reporting:
    Prepare and manage relevant documentation, including invoices, delivery orders, and work orders.
    Maintain accurate records in the depot management system and ensure compliance with company policies.
    Generate and analyze reports related to depot operations, customer interactions, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  4. Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, shipping lines, and other stakeholders.
    Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
Relevant experience in the shipping, logistics, or depot industry is an advantage.

Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office and depot management software.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
