SPD Scientific Pte Ltd is rapidly expanding. As part of our expansion program, we are seeking experienced and high-caliber individual in this newly created role to join us.

The role will be reporting to the Business Entity Manager as a key member of the Sales Team in SPD Scientific. This is a customer facing role supporting Sales, Operations, and Product Management who will be responsible for the execution of orders with the primary focus on building a strong relationship and providing superior customer experience.

We are looking for someone who is a self-starter and is able to work under general direction using discretion to complete tasks, frequently solves problems through research of multiple alternatives, builds stable working relationships with internal and external contacts, and impacts the immediate workgroup through accuracy of tasks and information provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Attending customers’ enquiries and follow-up on requests through phone calls, emails, social media platforms. e.g. handle exchanges/returns by collaborating with other departments
  • Establish a strong rapport with customers, handle management of customer order fulfillment and renewal.
  • Build a strong rapport with the Sales team to manage the customers’ expectations and anticipate any possible issues that might arise. Able to communicate action plans, escalation, and resolution to customers in a timely manner.
  • Run reports, analyze data, develop data for presentation, support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work closely with customers to accurately capture purchase order requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma in any discipline.
  • Minimum of 2yr experience in customer facing environment with a Customer Service Team (biotechnology industry preferred)
  • Must have experience processing orders in various systems. (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Looking to find a service-oriented person with good Interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills and phone etiquette.
  • Able to manage multi-tasking in tight deadlines and cross-functional team communications
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, think creatively and take on challenges, and proactively solve problems.
  • The successful candidate is expected to be intellectually curious, and results oriented with strong skills in the following areas: written and verbal communications, interpersonal cross functional team-based interaction, organizational and detail orientation, analytical, planning, problem solving, and the basics of project management methodologies.
