Crewing Coordinator

Job Summary

The Offshore Crewing Coordinator manages offshore crew members' recruitment, deployment, and well-being. They ensure that the correct people are available for offshore projects and that all crew members are safe, trained, and ready for their shifts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan and manage crew schedules, ensuring crews are deployed to offshore projects according to rotation schedules.
2. Coordinate the mobilization and demobilization of personnel to offshore platforms or vessels.
3. Ensure all crew members meet required certifications (e.g. BOSIET, medical, etc.) and follow industry regulations.
4. Track and maintain training records and certification for all crew members.
5. Book flights and travel management for offshore personnel to ensure timely arrival and departure.
6. Determine the visa type required for each offshore crew member based on the destination country.
7. Act as the main point of contact between offshore crew members and onshore management, ensuring clear communication.

Requirements

1. Minimum Diploma in Maritime Studies / Marine Engineering or equivalent. Alternatively, equivalent work experience may be considered.
2. Experience in offshore crewing, logistics, or the oil & gas industry is preferred.
3. Meticulous, pro-active with a positive attitude and willing to learn.
4. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
5. Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
6. Able to work independently and as a team.
