Responsibilities

  • Performs in-depth key credit risks and mitigation analysis to determine feasibility of granting credit facilities and provides recommendation in clear and concise manner to maintain/improve loans asset quality.
  • Provides general oversight of work processes and controls for the whole credit process including those arising (without limitation) from Business and Corporate Banking, Credit Administration, Loans Operations and Trade Operations.
  • Manages credit risks of borrowing portfolio of Business and Corporate Banking via ensuring timely completion of credit evaluation of periodic credit review and tracking on compliance of covenants/conditions.
  • Provides guidance to Relationship Managers of Business and Corporate Banking to improve on credit quality and credit underwriting skills and ensure compliance with Credit Policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Performs periodic review of Credit Policies and Credit Standard Operating Procedures and communicates to all stakeholders on timely basis on approved key changes made.
  • Mentors and guides more junior and/or new team members.
  • Collaborates with other departments to streamline and/or enhance work processes to improve on productivity and effectiveness.
  • Ad hoc tasks/projects assigned by management from time to time.
