Mission of the Position

The mission for this role is primarily to establish Aureus Music Academy’s tone of voice and visual direction. Iterating and improving on the company’s branding as well as establishing strong visual identity that immediately identifies the brand and makes it iconic.

Reporting to the Group Marketing Director, the Creative Director (Marketing) will be responsible for establishing the overall creative direction for the company’s assets, managing the creative team, and providing creative feedback to compliment marketing strategies focused on rapid growth and iconic brand building.

The role requires a highly self-motivated individual who can operate in a fast-paced environment, has strong thought leadership, is a problem solver and believes in always chasing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

1.Build and Manage the Creative Pipeline for Aureus Music Academy:

  • Establish a strong brand visual and tone of voice that resonates strongly with Aureus Music Academy customers
  • Lead a creative in the ideation and execution of high impact designs and creative concepts
  • Support marketing teams with creative ideation and direction

2.Develop World Class Assets and Creatives:

  • Lead with a strong creative direction and guidance to ensure delivery of global quality static and video content across offline and online platforms
  • Gatekeep final approval of all designs and artwork

3.Overwatch Creative Execution Internally and Externally:

  • Drive consistency in visuals and branding across all internal and external assets
  • Enforce strong design standards company wide

4.Manage A Creative Team:

  • Be responsible for managing a team of designers focused on offline and online assets
  • Define KPIs and performance strategies
  • Manage timelines and execution

5.Cross Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other divisions including customer retention, talent management, talent acquisition and project teams to build consistent end to end tone of voice and visuals
  • Work with various marketing stakeholders on the creative aspects of Web, Digital, Events, Roadshows and Social activations

6.Engage Target Audiences:

  • Build high impact creatives that resonate with customers

7.Story Telling and Asset Management:

  • Drive the creative process together with the Group Marketing Director and marketing teams to meet story telling requirements

8.Budget Management:

  • Manage budgets to ensure high ROI and efficiency in spends

Key Criteria/Requirements

  • Education and Professional Background: Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related art and creative fields with a minimum of 8 to 9 years of progressive experience in offline and online marketing assets (static and video) and campaigns with 2 years in a managerial or leadership position.
  • Strategic and Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to think creatively and translate insights into effective creative strategies, with a solid understanding of business operations to drive informed prioritization and product definitions.
  • Experience and Track Record: Proven track record of leading and executing successful global standard creative campaigns, from tactical execution to storytelling, in product or service-oriented industries and a proven strong portfolio showcasing innovative content ideas that drive business outcomes.
  • Proficiency in Design Software: Familiar with traditional and emerging design software for both online and offline content creation.
  • Project Management and Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, effectively balancing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Strong collaborator who can guide individual creative specializations and empower team members to achieve objectives and drive outcomes.
  • Communication and Industry Experience: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience in the education sector is not required; candidates from highly creative or story-driven industries are encouraged to apply.
