Who we are
Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank (Crédit Agricole CIB) is the corporate and investment banking arm of Crédit Agricole Group, the world’s 10th largest bank by total assets.
Our Singapore center, Information Systems Asia Pacific (ISAP), is the 2nd largest IT setup (after Paris Head Office) for Crédit Agricole CIB’s worldwide business. We work daily with international branches located in 30 markets by:
- Envisioning and preparing the Bank’s future information systems.
- Partnering and supporting core banking flagships and transverse areas in their large scale development projects.
- Providing premium in-house banking applications.
Department
Capital Markets IT (CMI) is the IT department within the bank focused on solutions related to Capital Markets.
CMI involves technology solutions and systems used in financial markets for trading, investment, and related activities. This includes electronic trading platforms, risk management systems (market risk, counterparty risk), algorithmic trading, data analytics, and regulatory measures. The use of advanced technologies like cloud and artificial intelligence is also becoming increasingly prevalent in CMI to enhance efficiency and decision-making processes.
Main responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive technical support for capital market applications, ensuring uninterrupted operations and minimizing downtime.
- Collaborate with business analysts and development teams to understand the requirements or troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application-related issues.
- Design, develop, and test code using a modern CI-CD pipeline.
- Monitor and analyze system performance, promptly addressing any issues to maintain optimal functionality.
- Implement proactive measures to enhance system reliability and performance.
- Conduct regular system audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement security patches.
- Respond to user queries and provide effective solutions to application-related problems.
- Develop and maintain documentation for support processes, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of applications with business objectives.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes relevant to capital markets.
- Participate in proof of concept for new technology R&D.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, automation, and development initiatives to elevate the efficiency of support activities.
- Maintain programmable code outlined in technical instructions and specifications for software applications.
Qualifications and Profile
Technical
- Strong knowledge in UNIX platform and any relational DB and language (SQL, Oracle, Sybase, Big Data).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation and monitoring.
- Valuable exposure to Elastic Search, Grid computing, Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, Control-M, and KAFKA.
- AWS or GCP Cloud Certified.
- Any DevOps Pipeline tooling GIT, Maven/Graven/Nuget/Ansible, Jenkins/TeamCity, Docker/Kubernetes.
Nice to have
- Any Object-oriented language: Java, .Net.
- Domain-Driven design and Microservices: Spring Boot.
- Any testing automation tools and frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG, Selenium).
Functional
- Demonstrate a broad understanding of Market Risk and FO Trade workflow, with a commendable grasp of financial products (Treasury, FX, Credit, IRD).
- Strong knowledge of financial instruments, market data feeds, and trading workflows.
- Junior level (0 to 3 years) experience in supporting capital market applications and trading systems, ideally within the dynamic landscape of Market Risk/Front Office operations.

Education Requirements
At least a Bachelor’s degree in any of these faculties:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Programming & Systems Analysis
- Science (Computer Studies)
Working Hours
Required to work on Paris and/or New York and/or Asia time zone*, i.e. 2pm to 11pm/4pm to 1am (summer season) or 3pm to 12am/5pm to 2am (winter season), or in accordance with the planned time schedule as required. If necessary, staff may also be required to start work earlier or to extend working hours.
Note: Staff may be required to be available for on-call support during non-business hours and/or on weekends. Allowance is claimable for such hours.
