Country Brand Lead, Hospital and Rare Diseases
Accountable for the strategic marketing plans that maximizes patient impact and delivers against financial objectives for the Hospital (Anti Fungals and SI) and Rare Diseases Category end-to-end. Collaboration with the different stakeholders (Marketing Lead, Market Access, Medical, Regulatory) to support brand/account strategies and deliver results.
Lead the launch planning and market development of new pipeline assets in the field of innovative gene therapy hemophilia, growth hormone, among others space, collaborating with in-market and above market teams to develop and implement innovative go-to-market strategies, leveraging on digital platforms.
Position Responsibilities
- Accountable for tailoring (glocalizing) global brand strategies, tactical programs and TA-specific customer experiences to meet local market needs.
- Accountable for the planning and coordination of the stakeholder engagement, across functions, to meet Hospital and Rare Diseases therapeutic area objectives.
- Responsible for the revenue and DME forecasts.
- Drive and plan launch strategy and innovative market access approaches.
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are adhered to and all ethical standards and business code of conduct are in compliance with local laws and internal SOPs.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare economic environment and ability to effectively drive long-term sustainable patient access lobbying through key external stakeholders (i.e. medical societies/foundations/patient support groups).
- Identify, develop and execute any key projects that enhance our business performance and independently lead projects.
- Lead development of Tactical plan, Market Research and Product Launch Readiness workshops.
- Define Go-To-Market strategic deployment, and align on resource allocation.
- Financial Accountability – Responsible for I&I revenue delivery; manage A&P and relevant budget.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years proven pharmaceutical brand management experience. Understands key trends in local health care and pharmaceutical market; customer and stakeholder landscape, competitive dynamics and business evolution.
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Pharmacy/Business Management.
- Recent product launch experience.
- Background in Rare Diseases is preferred.
- Experience working in and above market and able to demonstrate an ability to work in a matrix structure.
- Ability to deal with complexity and to demonstrate agility in thinking.
- Strong project management, coordination skills across internal and external stakeholders.
- Track record of pushing boundaries and not accepting status quo, comfortable working with tight timelines.
