Costing & Purchasing Executive

The Costing & Purchasing Executive plays a critical role in our organization by driving procurement strategies, ensuring optimal inventory management, and fostering strong supplier relationships. This position provides an exciting opportunity to enhance operational efficiency while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Planning

1. Prepare budgeted sales and margin targets at category level.
2. Determine merchandise gaps within each category and source products to fulfill category requirements.
3. Deploy organisation's procurement activities based on established product specifications and customer needs.
4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate payment processes to suppliers.
5. Manage suppliers to ensure quality, pricing and delivery objectives are met.

Inventory

1. Monitor existing stock level and maintain inventory effectively.
2. Clearance and management of ageing and discontinued stock.
3. Management of slow-moving product and excess inventory lines.
4. Constant analysis of stock situations to ensure immediate rectification of overstock and understock situations.
5. Analyse draft proposal and/or procurement specifications to ensure alignment with procurement requirements.

What We're Looking For:

1. Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics/Business Management, or any related field.
2. Possess 1-2 years of relevant experience.
3. Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills to coordinate with all levels of stakeholders.
4. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
5. Self-motivated and able to show responsibility in managing the team.
6. Strong analytical mind and ability to plan for maximizing efficiency.
