Costing Business Analyst (Manufacturing)

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and a passion for data-driven decision-making.

Details:

• Salary range from $5,000 to $6,500, with AWS and Variable Bonus
• US MNC
• Report to FP&A Director in US

Responsibilities:

• Combine and transform data from various sources to prepare for analysis, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies and establish data quality protocols.
• Conduct operational analysis to identify process inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
• Assess labour efficiency and provide insights to optimize workforce productivity.
• Apply cost accounting principles to track and manage expenses, ensuring accurate cost allocation.
• Perform sales analysis to support revenue growth strategies and profitability assessments.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate business performance.
• Summarize findings in clear and concise reports to support monthly and quarterly business metrics.
• Create visually compelling charts and graphs to present insights using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Accounting and General Managers, to understand data requirements and provide actionable insights.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or Data Science.
• 3 years of experience in a financial or operations analyst role, preferably with manufacturing analytics experience.
• Strong understanding of P&L analysis, cost accounting, and financial modeling.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Indexing, Pivot Tables, etc.).
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
• Experience in KPI development and performance tracking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Sage X3, APIs, or other financial software tools is an advantage.
• Positive attitude, team player, and a strong desire for continuous learning.
