Corporate Lawyer (Indonesia Law | Chinese MNC)

Key Information:

• Mon to Fri (8.30am to 5pm)

• Work Location: near to Tai Seng MRT

• Basic + AWS + Bonus

• Handle Indonesia Legal matters

• Familiar with Indonesia Law

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal counsel across business areas, including commodities trading, supply chain management, and commercial contracts.

• Draft, review, and negotiate trading, supply, and joint venture agreements.

• Establish legal policies, processes, and best practices for the company.

• Advise senior leadership on regulatory compliance, trade sanctions, and legal risks.

• Oversee M&A activities, including due diligence and contract negotiations.

• Manage legal compliance, regulatory reporting, and dispute resolution.

• Supervise external legal counsel and monitor industry regulatory changes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); admitted to the bar is preferred.

• Minimum 3 years of in-house legal experience, ideally in commodities or trading.

• Knowledge of commodities trading, supply chain law, and international trade law.

• Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate contracts for trading and commercial transactions.

• Business-oriented mindset with strategic legal advisory skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia, English, and Chinese to liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and China HQ office.
