Job Description
The role will focus on the planning and execution of strategic marketing plans for different client segments. You will partner with Market Sales (including businesses of Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities, Debt Capital Market, Equity Derivatives Group, eSales, & ICM) to roll out specific programs to suit respective clientele.

The role will be required to organize networking events, conferences, seminars, training programs, conduct investor calls, manage company roadshows, prepare analytic reports post events with professional courtesy and acumen, and deliver flawless work output.

As an Events Marketing Analyst, you will support the business in efforts to increase client business/deepen existing client relationships, create and drive efficiencies for all internal partners and maintain J.P. Morgan brand standards in all events.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to help define, support, identify, evaluate and create content for event marketing opportunities that support the business agenda.
  • Support end-to-end marketing events from planning, content development, time management, resourcing, budgeting, translation, onsite support, event measurement and reporting; manage Debt Capital Market deal/non-deal roadshow logistic and provide onsite luncheon support.
  • Lead and manage low-touch client events and provide guidance where appropriate; manage and keep track of budget and spending summary for projects; act as data gatekeeper for all the investors and participating companies for all access tracking including activity and related payment.
  • Develop strategic agenda and content for events. Oversee the development of event agendas with marketing and business including interaction with internal and external speakers and panelists, entertainment and venue research, audio visual requirements, briefing memos.
  • Work with Creative Services team to develop client communication materials such as invitations, speakers biography templates, nametags, place cards, menu cards, seating, and speaker introductions, etc.
  • Organize networking events from venue search, entertainment suggestion, budget planning, execution to post event analysis summary; Assist in the planning and preparation of conferences, and client training programs.
  • Manage and maintain Research Analyst Meeting Schedule, suggest travel arrangement, and provide instruction to respective location for onshore support.
  • Adhere to internal and regulatory policy and procedures with regards to reporting activities and spend, legal and compliance regulations, approval processes and data privacy.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related degree.
  • 3 or more years of experience in marketing or event planning field, particularly in financial services industry.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage projects and related tasks independently, and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to build event marketing strategies that supports the ongoing business growth priorities, manage and to stay within strict budget parameters.
  • Detail-oriented with an ability to prioritize and simultaneously manage multiple tasks; Adaptable, flexible and willing to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong team player with proven capability of reaching proposed targets and supporting team members with their events as necessary.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • Proficient in Mandarin language skills to interact with Chinese stakeholders.
  • Experience with event organization.
