We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Compliance and Treasury Specialist to join our team and play a vital role in our organization. This is an individual contributor position, offering an exciting opportunity to independently manage key treasury operations, corporate compliance requirements, and governance support. The role includes overseeing cash flow, negotiating financial terms with banks in collaboration with the Legal Department, and ensuring adherence to ACRA regulations. Key Responsibilities:
1. Treasury Management:
Oversee treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting and bank account management.
Manage relationships with banking partners and negotiate terms and conditions in collaboration with the Legal Department.
Review and process financial instruments, such as letters of offer, trade finance instruments, and loans.
2. Corporate Compliance:
Ensure timely corporate filings and compliance with ACRA regulations.
Maintain statutory registers and records, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal requirements.
Coordinate with external stakeholders, such as auditors and regulatory authorities, to fulfill compliance obligations.
3. Legal and Financial Negotiations:
Review and analyze banks’ letters of offer and related documents.
Work closely with the Legal Department to negotiate favorable terms and mitigate risks.
Provide recommendations to senior management on banking and treasury matters.
4. Individual Contributor Role:
Operate independently to manage assigned responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Take ownership of tasks and ensure timely and accurate delivery of outcomes.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams while maintaining accountability for your specific deliverables.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in treasury management, corporate compliance, or a related role.
Familiarity with ACRA requirements and corporate governance best practices.
Experience working with banks’ letters of offer and negotiating financial terms.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and risk management principles.
