Job description

The Population Health Campus (PHC) leads the population health transformation and development by the National Healthcare Group (NHG) in synchronisation with national population health strategies and key programmes: Healthier SG and Age Well SG. Through its three missions - Population Health, Community Care, Primary Care, PHC aims to integrate care, and transform preventive care and aged care, in collaboration with NHG hospitals and specialty centres, and partners such as general practitioners and community care providers, for residents of Central and North Singapore.

The Executive, Corporate Communications, is responsible for supporting the Department in external communications, corporate branding, media relations and internal communications. The role will play an integral role in developing, curating, and updating content across digital media channels including websites, social media and email. In addition, the role is responsible for award secretariat duties which include coordinating of nominations, consolidating information for senior management, and maintaining accurate records.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

External Communications (Media/Public Relations, and Branding)

  • Support managers in maintaining strong and consistent corporate identity and branding
  • Support integrated communication campaigns from planning to execution
  • Develop and update content on corporate website and social media channels
  • Craft media materials including press releases, factsheets and FAQs
  • Conduct media monitoring and analysis of coverage across mainstream and social media platforms

Internal Communications

  • Develop content and maintain internal channels to engage staff including Intranet, Viva Engage
  • Organise internal events with guidance from managers and coordinate all stages from planning to organising to post-event reporting
  • Build and maintain calendar of events by coordinating with cross-functional teams

Award Secretariat

  • Coordinate and process nominations and maintain accurate records of all applications
  • Assist in award nomination, review and ensure timely submissions

Administrative Support

  • Manage Head of Department’s calendar including scheduling of meetings and appointments
  • Provide support for internal and external meetings for the Department, including preparation of agendas and presentations with guidance from managers
  • Participate in projects and events as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Media and Communication, Marketing, Social Sciences or a related field
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in Corporate Communications / Marketing Communications / Public Relations
  • Prior working experience in healthcare sector is an added advantage
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with proficiency in social media, content management systems and events coordination
  • Strong team player who is able to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented with strong project coordination and time management skills
  • Self-motivated and result-oriented
  • Creative and resourceful - you know what makes a good story and how to tell it
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain harmonious working relationships with internal/external stakeholders
  • Able to work well in ambiguous situation with a can-do attitude.
