Contracts Manager (A&A, Building, Residential, Commercial)
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of quantity surveyors in tender submissions, project execution, and contractual matters.
- Develop strategies for scope of work and contractual terms when sourcing suppliers and subcontractors.
- Provide contractual guidance to senior management, project managers, and relevant project staff.
- Ensure compliance with specific contract requirements and procedures.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Oversee risk management, cost control, and value optimization for design and project work.
- Identify, analyze, and mitigate commercial risks.
- Perform any other ad hoc duties as required.
Requirements:
- Over 8 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of PSSCOC, REDAS, and SIA contractual regulations.
- Proven leadership skills with a collaborative and problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of presenting clear recommendations to management.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
