Position: Contracts Manager

The Contracts Manager is responsible for overseeing the measurement and tender documentation processes. He/She drives adoption of industry best practices and the use of technology to support the measurement processes. Establishes tender and procurement strategies and advises on relevant contracts for contractors, specialists and subcontractors. Endorses cost estimations and monitors cash flow forecasts. Endorses final accounts and establishes policies for payments and post contract administration matters. Works to mitigate risks and advises on dispute resolution techniques when necessary.

1. Prepare measurements and tender documentation
2. Drive cost planning and control
3. Define tender and procurement strategies
4. Manage post-contract administration
5. Conduct tendering and estimation
6. Manage construction cost and resource procurement
7. Lead and manage a team of QS, Purchasers & Designers
8. Any other ad hoc projects & duties assigned by management

Candidate profile:

1. Degree / Diploma holder in Building / Project and Facilities Management / Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
2. More than 3-5 years of relevant working experience in Quantity Surveying / Contracts Management with team management experience.
3. Comfortable with travelling around Singapore for site-visits.
4. Good communication and strong internal/external stakeholders management.
5. Candidates with Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers (SISV) or Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) professional membership will be highly advantageous.
6. Able to start work immediately or within short notices will be preferred.
