As the Warehouse Assistant, you are responsible for carrying out daily warehouse tasks in a safe, effective, and efficient manner. The main tasks include Fork Lift Truck operations, manual cargo handling and packing, and electronic transaction of inventory movement. You will be based at Pioneer, Singapore and will be reporting to the Assistant Manager, Logistics.

• Complying with safety rules, safe work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
• Handling inbound and outbound activities as assigned.
• Unloading, validating, and receiving goods.
• Validating, packing, issuing, and loading goods.
• Putting away goods to designated storage/application areas.
• Picking goods for shipments or production consumption based on the pick list or instructions.
• Receiving, preparing, and packing goods for shipment according to the customer’s defined requirements.
• Operating, inspecting, and maintaining daily on the assigned MHE.
• Performing necessary housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Participating in continuous improvement projects.
• Quality System Compliance: Maintaining and supporting all site activities according to accreditation standards in the scope of the QMS [ISO 9001, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Halal & Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO)].

Your professional profile includes:

• Able to work in a warehouse, non-air-conditioned environment.
• Knowledge of work instructions under the ISO9000 quality system.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to perform as a team player with a good working attitude.
• Able to handle heavy physical work.
• Must possess a valid forklift license.
• Familiarity with standard warehouse work processes.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management System.
• Experience in using scanners or RF devices.
• Proficient with regulatory systems.
• Overtime is possible but not mandatory.

Others: This is a 6-month contract role located in Pioneer. The company is a Switzerland MNC dealing with Flavor & Fragrance R&D and manufacturing.

Work hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm / Mon-Fri
