Contract Process Safety Engineer (Up to $6K) - Pharma/ Chem MNC #HHL

Location: Tuas (Pick-up available at Jurong East, Boon Lay, CCK, Woodlands, Tampines, Sengkang, Bishan, Paya Lebar, Yishun)
Duration: 1-Year Contract
Schedule: 5-day work week, office hours
Salary: Up to $6,000 base + $250 transport allowance

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct process hazard analysis and risk assessments using tools like HAZOP, HAZID, QRA, and air dispersion modeling.
Facilitate discussions to identify hazards, evaluate risks, and recommend effective control measures.
Support audits and collaborate with site stakeholders to implement corrective/preventive actions.
Assist in reviewing process safety & risk management (PSM & RM), including hazard analysis, root cause investigations, and safety procedures.
Maintain and update PSM & RM documentation to ensure compliance readiness.
Provide technical guidance on process safety & workplace safety for capital projects.
Act as an EHS representative and work with stakeholders to ensure safe operations.
Utilize PSM metrics to strengthen the process safety culture on-site.

Requirements:

Min. Bachelor’s degree in Chemical / Process Safety / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related sciences (Bio-medical, Pharmaceutical, Chemistry).
Technical expertise in process safety management, risk management, or chemical/process safety is essential.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical (API) or related manufacturing industries. Candidates with technical roles in process or workplace safety are highly preferred.
Knowledge of industry standards & regulations (e.g., SS506 Part 3, API S1 0, NFPA, Singapore Fire Safety Act, WSH Major Hazard Installation regulations) is an advantage.
