Contract Manager

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our client is A1 Contractor who manages LTA Civil engineering projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. The candidate should preferably have a strong background in LTA Civil Engineering projects, including Utility/Road work diversion, Cycling pathway infrastructure, sewer, manhole, linked bridge, and enhancement of commuter facilities.
2. The candidate will handle higher complexity disputes, contracts, LOA, and VO matters.
3. Guide and coach the Contract & Tender team (approximately 10 pax) in daily contract operation matters, disputes, and goal setting.
4. Manage customer relationships, and negotiate with sub-contractors and vendors.
5. Work closely with the Project team to ensure smooth project deliveries and meet timelines.
6. The candidate must currently be in a managerial role with at least 6 years of experience managing a diverse team (Singaporean, Chinese, Burmese, Filipino, Malaysian).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. At least 6 years of relevant experience leading a team.
2. Strong project experience as Contract Manager/Senior Contract Manager.
3. Strong contract administration and legal background.
4. Strong leadership in managing teams and coordinating with Management and Project teams.
5. Ability to motivate and inspire staff; hands-on approach and strong follow-up skills.
6. Bilingual in English & Mandarin.
7. Ability to design and deliver solutions on projects and on site.
8. Effective written communication and report writing skills.
9. Ability to maintain personal effectiveness, particularly during periods of higher-than-normal workload.
