Job Purpose
BBC StoryWorks, BBC Studio’s global creative content division, is seeking a creative strategist to support the StoryWorks APAC in developing and delivering innovative and high-quality content solutions across existing and prospective client portfolio.
Seeking a highly creative, collaborative, and adaptable content strategist who can capably work inside a matrix of stakeholders to develop creative strategies that maximise quality brand storytelling across BBC owned platforms.
Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities
Who you are:
BBC StoryWorks content strategists build on the BBC’s award-winning global expertise by creating multi format storytelling that captures audiences’ imagination and provides maximum ROI for brands.
You are someone with strong experience in digital content development across multiple formats and commercial experience working directly with advertising clients on branded content to achieve their KPIs while maintaining excellence in storytelling.
You can confidently and creatively respond to client briefs with creative ideas, collaborating with a series of in-house and outsourced creators to executive produce the resulting high-quality digital native content across multiple formats. You can defend this creative strategy to ensure maximum quality while working with client stakeholders.
You have strong editorial experience and a keen passion for the latest trends in storytelling, with a keen understanding of the competitive landscape. A strong creator network across formats and topics is a plus.
You can creatively lead, delegate, motivate, and coordinate with external creators, on deadline, while liaising with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the highest quality of work to BBC standards.
You are accustomed to flexible working with the possibility of traveling for production projects. Experience and understanding of communication across markets APAC, including China and Japan, is a plus.
The role reports to the Creative Director, BBC StoryWorks APAC, and works closely with a matrixed group of media, sales, and editorial professionals within the BBC.
