Job description

We are seeking a creative and strategic Content Strategist to join our team. As a Content Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive content strategies that engage, inform, and inspire our target audience. Your role will involve working closely with marketing, design, and product teams to create consistent, compelling content across various digital channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of content marketing, audience segmentation, and SEO, with the ability to craft content strategies that drive business growth and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies that align with overall business goals, audience needs, and brand objectives. Ensure strategies are tailored to different customer segments and buyer journeys.
  • Content Planning & Creation: Lead content ideation, creation, and editorial planning for various digital channels including websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and video content. Collaborate with writers, designers, and videographers to produce high-quality content.
  • SEO & Optimization: Implement best practices for SEO to ensure content is optimized for search engines and drives organic traffic. Conduct keyword research, optimize on-page elements, and track content performance for ongoing optimization.
  • Brand Voice & Messaging: Maintain and evolve the company's brand voice and messaging to ensure consistency across all content. Collaborate with other teams to ensure all content reflects the brand's tone and core values.
  • Audience Research: Conduct research to understand target audience preferences, behavior, and pain points. Use data and analytics to develop insights that inform content decisions and improve engagement.
  • Content Calendar Management: Create and manage a content calendar to ensure a steady stream of fresh, relevant content is produced and published on time. Coordinate with internal teams to meet deadlines and campaign goals.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Measure and report on the effectiveness of content strategies using analytics tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and email marketing reports. Provide regular performance updates and optimize content strategies based on findings.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product, marketing, and sales teams to create content that supports product launches, customer education, and lead generation. Collaborate with designers to ensure content is visually appealing and easy to consume.
  • Content Governance & Best Practices: Develop and enforce content guidelines, ensuring all content is aligned with best practices, industry trends, and compliance standards. Maintain a repository of content assets for easy access by the team.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of creating and executing successful content strategies across multiple digital channels.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimization techniques.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an eye for detail.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and publishing platforms.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and social media analytics tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative, data-driven, and adaptable with a passion for storytelling and digital content.
