About the Role

  • We’re looking for an exceptional Creator to work exclusively with our client. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a tech-savvy yet consumer-centric content creator and an influencer with a twist – a social media native who has the pulse on culture and can turn an opportunity into a concept and social-native creative production within hours and days. Simply put, someone who thrives on being one step ahead of the social trends and reacting to viral moments.
  • As a one-person creative powerhouse, almost like a one-person-agency, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and elevating this client’s social native creative quality and credibility across the APAC region, providing actionable and transformative creative input to bring creative magic to their key products ranging from hardware to Generative AI.
  • If you gain energy by building social native content that connects culture, community and brands, this is your chance to be at the forefront of a pilot program, driving social creative excellence and earned social conversations for one of the world’s most recognized brands – you’ll have the freedom to experiment, create, and directly influence the social narrative.
  • You’ll be acting as a critical bridge between global social creative teams and local marketing teams to help with social-native yet authentic brand content for both always-on-social accounts and social-first integrated campaigns. Your sharp creative judgement and thought leadership will help elevate the regional social media centre-of-excellence quest to support modern marketers across the organisation.

Ideation:

  • Identify community-centric, insight-driven, culture-moving social content ideas that stay true to the brand’s unique voice.
  • Monitor social and cultural trends to generate untapped opportunities, prototype and A/B test new content ideas that support the overall go-to-market strategies for campaigns.
  • Provide insights into the APAC social and creator economy, ensuring content resonates with regional audiences.
  • Work closely with regional and local social teams and product marketing managers to identify untapped opportunities.
  • Act as an idea-generating powerhouse quick at generating unique, disruptive, unconventional social creative concepts.
  • Collaborate with strategy, analytics, and media teams to refine creative concepts and ensure it is closely tied to business and brand objectives and KPIs.

Production:

  • Partner with internal teams to move ideas and concepts towards action, resourcefully and efficiently leading end-to-end content creation production, from editing and designing to launching.
  • Balancing the agility of a creator with the delivery of high-quality content within corporate brand approval frameworks and processes.

Your background

  • 10+ years of experience in social native content creation or related coverage with a significant follower base and engagement on relevant platforms.
  • Social media portfolio filled with examples that showcase end-to-end work that has been created for global brands in multiple formats and platforms.
  • Excellent creative judgement and taste coupled with hands-on social native design, illustration, video editing, and copywriting skills by using tools such as video editing software, social media native and AI tools.
  • Experienced with taking a balanced approach to fast-paced creativity and corporate decision-making processes.
  • Accustomed to staying on top of changes to social media algorithms and platform-specific nuances.
  • Proven experience with corporate brand operations and processes in a highly matrix and global / APAC regional environment with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written, articulating ideas in a clear and exciting manner.
  • Strong knowledge of the diverse APAC social and creator economy landscape.
  • Someone who puts the team ahead of self and is always open to collaboration and diverse opinions across teams.
  • A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and able to proactively unlock opportunities while navigating complexity and ambiguity.
