Content & Communications Specialist

We are seeking a creative and versatile Content Creator to join our Corporate Communications & Partnerships team. This role is responsible for developing engaging and impactful content across all digital and print platforms, supporting internal departments with their content needs, and enhancing the overall brand presence of NLCS. The ideal candidate is a strong writer with a keen eye for design and storytelling, with the ability to write compelling content tailored for different platforms and audiences.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage content across multiple platforms, including social media, website, email newsletters, brochures, and other marketing materials
• Write compelling and audience-specific content that aligns with NLCS’s mission, values, and brand identity
• Create visually appealing graphics and marketing materials using Canva (Photoshop skills are a plus)
• Collaborate with internal teams to support their content needs, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding
• Assist in capturing and curating stories that highlight the impact of NLCS’s programmes and initiatives
• Monitor content performance and suggest improvements based on engagement analytics
• Stay updated on digital trends, best practices, and social media strategies relevant to the nonprofit sector

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or other equivalents
• 3-5 years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field, with a strong focus on content creation and storytelling
• Strong writing skills with the ability to craft engaging and clear messaging for various platforms
• Proficiency in Canva for social media content creation
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop or other design tools is a plus
• Ability to work cross-functionally and adapt to different content needs
• A proactive and collaborative mindset with a passion for storytelling
