CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Job Responsibilities

• Planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure
• Analyzing blueprints, maps, and survey reports to plan projects
• Conducting feasibility studies, including soil testing to determine the suitability of a construction site
• Preparing and implementing project budgets and timelines
• Coordinating and supervising the work of contractors and staff
• Ensuring project compliance with all safety codes and legal requirements
• Inspecting project sites to monitor progress and adherence to design specifications, safety protocols, and state sanitation standards
• Directing or performing surveys to establish construction boundaries and benchmarks
• Assessing the sustainability and environmental impact of projects
• Collaborating with architects, contractors, and construction teams
• Documenting project details and maintaining project records for future reference
• Managing and overseeing construction projects from conception to completion
• Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
• Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
• Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors
• Reviewing the work progress on a daily basis
• Preparing internal and external reports pertaining to job status
• Negotiating terms of agreements, drafting contracts, and obtaining necessary permits and licenses
• Ensuring quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
