Computer Software Engineer (Oracle SCM)

Responsibilities:

1. Designing and developing computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
2. Gathering and analyzing business requirements to design Oracle SCM solutions that align with client objectives. Work closely with Suppliers and ODMs to onboard them via EDI/API integration models.
3. Working both independently and collaboratively with stakeholders and others across the team to define requirements and develop a robust solution.
4. Implementing, configuring, and optimizing Oracle SCM solutions.
5. Configuring and managing inbound/outbound integrations for data accuracy and security.
6. Defining and implementing integration requirements for seamless data exchange.
7. Managing and supporting the integration of key EDI transactions and working with integration engineers & backend developers to build and maintain integration pipelines.
8. Providing ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for Oracle SCM applications, including resolving issues related to system performance, integrations, and data integrity.
9. Ensuring accurate data flow between supply planning, inventory, warehouse movements, procurement, and fulfillment systems.
10. Supporting order lifecycle management by ensuring PO transmission, confirmation, and shipment tracking.
11. Working closely with business analysts, supply planners, and IT teams to define process automation improvements.
12. Working with Oracle ERP and supply chain modules to manage transactional workflow.
13. Ensuring compliance with data security policies and integration SLAs.

Required Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
2. 6+ years of experience in Techno-Functional roles in Supply Chain Planning.
3. Strong expertise in EDI transaction standards and API-based integrations.
4. Deep knowledge of Oracle Supply chain modules.
5. Experience in onboarding suppliers & ODMs into automated data exchange models.
6. Hands-on experience working with integration tools, middleware (OIC, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar).
7. Experience in cloud-based Oracle Supply Chain solutions (Oracle Fusion, Cloud SCM).
8. Hands-on experience with ERP integration projects involving EDI/API.
9. Knowledge of supply chain analytics and reporting tools.
10. Familiarity with B2B integration protocols (AS2, SFTP, REST, SOAP APIs).
11. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
