Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated CFD specialistto join our team. In this role, you will leverage Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) tools to analyze and optimize building performance, focusing on areas such as natural ventilation, wind-driven rain, and ACMV systems. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality simulations and technical insights to support our projects. You will also be involved in Fire Safety Engineering as a secondary role.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct CFD simulations to assess building performance, including airflow, heat transfer, fire and smoke movement and fluid dynamics.
• Develop 3D models, set up simulations, and perform post-processing to extract meaningful insights.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to understand project requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings to clients and internal stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Building Services, Building Science, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, fire and smoke and building physics.
• Proficiency in CFD principles (experience with CFD software such as OpenFOAM is an advantage).
• Prior experience in CFD simulations is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate technical data into actionable insights.
