Component Repair Technician (Machining)

A multinational aerospace corporation is hiring a Component Repair Technician, with a main focus in operating CNC Machines.

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines that handle milling/grinding and lathe.
• Set up and operate other machines such as electrical discharge machine, laser machine, VT Lathe to produce or rework jigs, fixtures, tools, dies, gauges, test equipment, and product parts.
• Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping tasks as scheduled.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level with 3 years of relevant experience OR
• Preferably NITEC/Higher NITEC in Mechanical or Precision Engineering OR
• Diploma in Mechanical/Precision/Manufacturing Engineering.
• Familiarity with CNC programming.
• Proficiency in reading and understanding manufacturing operation sheets and standard procedures in English.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow instructions.
• Skilled in using measuring instruments.
• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• A collaborative team player.
