Compliance Executive

Our client is a Singaporean multinational technology and engineering group in the aerospace, smart city as well as defense and public security sector.

With their ever-growing expansion, they are looking to hire a Compliance Executive to join their organisation.

Governance & Risk Management

• Work closely with the Lead, Compliance & Risk Management Office (CRMO) to provide oversight over the Organization’s adherence to legislative and regulatory standards;

• Keep abreast of regulatory and legislative changes and provide updates on regulatory changes and/or legislative requirements to Management & employees;

• Conduct process reviews on the various business functions of the Organization to assess the effectiveness of internal controls;

• Maintain regular oversight of risks in business operations and implement mitigating controls to align with the Organization’s risk appetite.

Data Governance

• Provide guidance and support to the Data Protection committees within the Organization;

• Evaluate, implement and monitor personal data protection compliance policies, procedures, controls and/or remediation measures.

Education & Awareness

• Foster a data protection culture amongst employees and communicate personal data protection policies to stakeholders;

• Administer and conduct compliance training to employees, and other educational events/activities to raise awareness on risks, data protection and compliance.

Ad-hoc Duties

• Support any other ad-hoc matters as assigned by supervisor and Management.

If you’re someone with the following, let’s chat!

• Degree or Diploma Holder;

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in the field of risk management, data protection or internal audit;

• Fresh graduates with a keen interest to grow professionally in the fields of data governance & risk management are welcome to apply;

• Relevant certification (e.g. Certified Practitioner in Data Protection, Certified Information Privacy Professional etc.) will be an added advantage;

• Ability to work independently, objectively and constructively;

• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills to work with various stakeholders;

• Analytical and meticulous with strong attention to detail;

• Energetic, systems-minded and solutions-oriented.

Additional details

• 2 years contract.
