Community Outreach Manager (Public Sector)

Permanent Position starting with 3 year Direct Contract under a Statutory Board

Location: Central
Salary: Basic up to $6,000 + AWS + VB

Job Responsibilities:

1. Design and organise common based programmes that complement Government’s efforts in reaching out to the community.
2. Outreach and engagement of community and corporate partners to deepen engagement and grow networks.
3. Assist to implement community action plans to strengthen its aggregator role and amplify its value through common based programmes.
4. Assist in developing strategies and initiatives to help achieve their mission and objectives through strategic planning and policies.
5. Develop and expand the network to engage partners and stakeholders, connecting communities to build their capabilities to address emerging and existing needs.
6. Support the international relations matters and work closely with the other government agencies, and overseas counterparts.
7. Manage national schemes spanning and review/monitor common-based programmes.
8. Develop and incubate innovative programmes to address complex and evolving needs.
9. Perform secretariat duties, including managing programmes and projects meetings.

3. Prior experience in Community Work.
4. Excellent communication and written skills.
5. Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
6. Has a keen interest in current affairs, national policies and keeps updated about news in the community
