WHO YOU ARE:

Arootah is searching for Singapore-based Executive Coaches with Communications expertise to work with our Hedge Fund / Alternative Investment clients. As an Executive Coach, you will work with high-potential employees to help them gain self-awareness, clarify goals, improve communications skills, achieve development objectives, unlock potential, and be a sounding board.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Facilitation & Workshops

  1. Facilitate engaging in-person and virtual workshops for high-performing professionals.
  2. Coach participants on executive communication, active listening, and effective meeting facilitation.
  3. Guide professionals in storytelling, translating complex data into persuasive narratives, and pitching to investment clients.
  4. Train individuals in presentation skills, executive presence, and interpersonal influence, including when engaging senior leadership.
  5. Develop participants' strategic conversation skills for impactful interactions with management and clients.
  6. Lead dynamic, high-engagement sessions using interactive activities, role play simulations, group coaching, and peer feedback focused on clarity, brevity, active listening, and presence.
  7. Collaborate on tailoring workshop content to address client-specific communication challenges, such as internal pitch meetings and C-suite engagement.
  8. Support the design and rollout of long-term communication training programs aligned with client growth initiatives.
  9. Provide feedback, coaching, and resources during sessions to reinforce learning and measurable growth.

Coaching

  1. Use Arootah’s coaching process and proprietary tools and technology with clients to support clients in getting from where they are to where they want to be.
  2. Simplify and clarify goals and identify communication weaknesses.
  3. Help the client develop realistic and effective monthly action plans for leadership growth and communications skills improvement.
  4. Identify internal and contextual roadblocks.
  5. Break apart goals into actionable steps.
  6. Devise a plan of action for each goal.
  7. Provide the client with resources associated with implementing their action plan.
  8. Teach and mirror successful and positive emotional and behavioral techniques.
  9. Evaluate each client’s advancement toward goal actualization.
  10. Maintain and share detailed and accurate records of coaching results (challenges, breakthroughs etc.).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Must have professional experience working in financial services or hedge funds.
  2. Must be located in Singapore.
  3. Must have 5+ years of experience in group facilitation and workshops.
  4. Strong experience in B2B and B2C executive coaching up to the c-level with a corporate background.
  5. IPEC/ICF Certified Strongly Preferred But Not Required.
  6. Strong experience in communications or leadership development.
  7. Familiarity with storytelling frameworks, active listening models, and stakeholder influence techniques.
  8. Ability to coach high-performing individuals to translate technical concepts into persuasive, audience-relevant messaging.
  9. Background in corporate training, L&D, or consulting is a plus.
  10. Passion for helping others improve their communication skills.
  11. Ability to captivate, motivate, and inspire an audience.
  12. Strong cultural intelligence skills with the ability to build rapport.
  13. Effective communication skills.
  14. Personable and relatable characteristics.
  15. Basic computer skills.
  16. Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  17. Fluent in English.

PREFERRED:

  1. Experience working and collaborating with remote teams.
  2. Fluent in Mandarin.

Rate:

Range between $100 USD/hour - $200 USD/hour

Actual compensation will be determined by several factors including skills, specialization, accreditation, and years of experience.
