About the Company

Founded in 1997, Trina Solar is the world-leading PV and smart energy total solution provider. On 10 June 2020, Trina Solar issues first A-Shares on Shanghai Sci-Tech Innovation Board, becoming the first PV product, PV system and smart energy company listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange Science and Technology Innovation Board. Today, Trina Solar is actively accelerating its pace of globalization and the development of its global management team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the bidding process for projects, including preparation, submission, and evaluation of tender documentation.
  2. Coordinate with departments such as Sales, Legal, Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment and efficiency in project execution.
  3. Develop and negotiate commercial and technical terms with clients, ensuring profitability and risk management.
  4. Manage contractual documents, ensuring compliance with company policies, project specifications, and legal requirements.
  5. Drive continuous improvement in bid management processes, tools, and templates to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. Collaborate with the Sales team to support customer engagement and relationship management throughout the project lifecycle.
  7. Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with bid submissions and project execution, working closely with relevant stakeholders.
  8. Develop and maintain contract standards and templates, ensuring consistency and accuracy in contractual agreements.
  9. Facilitate internal approvals at various stages of project development, from proposal to contract signing.
  10. Perform other duties as required.

Skills Requirement:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management, project management, or a related role in the energy sector.
  3. Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese (both written and spoken) is essential to liaise with Japanese counterparties.
  4. Strong understanding of contractual terms and conditions, and the ability to negotiate effectively.
  5. Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  8. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and contract management software.
  9. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
