Commercial Engineer-Tenders & Estimations (Marine)

Location: Marine - 60 Tuas Road, SG

Description:

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate and realistic estimates for jobs as required in tender bids.
• Source suitable subcontractors for specialized jobs and complex work.
• Prepare accurate and detailed invoicing to achieve fair and better contribution margins.
• Liaise with Shiprepair Manager and Project Supervisor on all quoted and additional jobs.
• Assist Commercial Manager or his designate in discussions of invoices for completed projects with attending Owner Representatives.
• Assess subcontractors’ invoices, discuss with relevant parties, and conclude bill settlement within target timeframe.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Marine/Mechanical/Naval Architecture related studies.
• Preferably 2 years working experience in Shipyard or Marine related industry, but not a must.
• Possess understanding of Estimation and Costing for projects.
• Proficient in MS Office and MS Project if possible.
• Knowledge in SAP, AutoCAD, and Solidworks is advantageous.

Other Information:

• Location: 55 Gul Road (Island-wide transport provided).
• 5 days work week.
• Working Hours: 7.25am to 5.00pm.
