Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Director (Trade Exhibitions) to join their team on a permanent basis.

As Commercial Director, you will be pivotal in shaping sales strategies, expanding the exhibitor base, and ensuring the exhibitions continue to align with market demands and client needs. You will also serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts and represent the company at industry events globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Sales Strategies: Drive the development of innovative sales strategies that respond to evolving market conditions and client requirements.
  • Lead Key Account Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with key customers, becoming a trusted consultant for their trade show and marketing strategies.
  • Achieve Sales Targets: Oversee and exceed revenue goals, new exhibitor acquisition, and sales targets for each event.
  • Sales Leadership: Lead and motivate the extended sales team, including agents, driving effective sales strategies, develop value-based packages, and drive the growth of the event portfolio.
  • Promote Exhibitor Engagement: Design and implement exhibitor promotional marketing strategies to maximize event success and exhibitor satisfaction.
  • Budget and Forecasting: Develop and manage the sales budget and provide regular revenue forecasts.
  • Industry Representation: Represent the company at global industry events, workshops, and conferences.

  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally.
