The Commercial Director will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive commercial strategy that maximizes total revenue, market share, and profitability across all business segments and channels. This role requires a seasoned leader with a strong international background and expertise in both soft and hard brands attributes. The ideal candidate will drive commercial excellence by leading the Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, eCommerce, Mass Communication, and Catering & Events teams.
Key Responsibilities but not limited to:
Develop and implement a commercial strategy that ensures sustainable revenue growth across all business units, including Rooms, Meetings & Events, and F&B outlets.
Lead the commercial team in revenue optimization, ensuring an optimal business mix and pricing strategies that maximize profitability.
Work closely with the General Manager and leadership team to align commercial goals with overall business objectives.
Oversee all sales and marketing activities, ensuring strong brand positioning and effective promotional strategies.
Leverage international market insights to identify growth opportunities and expand business reach.
Collaborate with external stakeholders, including owners, brand partners, and corporate offices, to drive strategic initiatives.
Utilize data analytics and market intelligence to monitor performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
Champion innovation in digital marketing, eCommerce, and distribution to stay ahead of market trends.
Provide mentorship and development opportunities for the team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
Key Skills and Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a commercial leadership role within the hospitality industry.
Proven international experience is a mandatory requirement.
Strong understanding of both soft and hard hotel brands and their positioning in the marketplace.
Proactive, with sound judgment and strong business acumen.
Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and improving market share.
Expertise in revenue management, pricing strategies, digital marketing, and sales operations.
