Our client is a fantastic global B2B exhibitions & media business that connects leaders and businesses globally to drive innovation. They are looking for a talented and motivated Sales Team Lead to join the Singapore team.

Sales Management experience for this role is essential, as you will be expected to drive an established team to achieve their revenue targets and goals.

Role Overview:

As the Sales Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing a team of 8-10 skilled sales professionals across all levels. Your primary focus will be on driving sales performance across new business acquisition, account management, customer retention, and overall customer success. You will be responsible for setting team targets, managing performance, and ensuring that sales revenue goals are met.

Your leadership and strategic vision will be key to fostering a high-performing team and achieving growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of experienced sales professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and collective sales goals.
  2. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and initiatives to drive new business opportunities and maximize account revenue.
  3. Performance Management: Monitor and evaluate team performance, set clear targets, and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure the achievement of sales objectives.
  4. Revenue Growth: Oversee the management of sales pipelines, ensuring the team meets and exceeds revenue targets through effective client engagement and relationship management.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with company objectives and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
  6. Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and team achievements to senior management.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 5 years proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within the B2B exhibitions/media space or related industries and overall at least 8 years+
  2. Strong track record of achieving sales targets and managing high-performing sales teams.
  3. A background selling into the events space is highly preferred along with a passion for Tech and Fintech.
  4. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and drive team performance.
  5. Strategic thinker with a solid understanding of sales strategies, pipeline management, and customer success principles.
  6. Ability to analyse sales data and market trends to make informed decisions and adjust strategies as needed.
