Coffee Planning Manager (Co-pilot)

As a Coffee Planning Manager based in Singapore, you will act as a trusted co-pilot to the Regional Coffee Program Manager (Asia & Africa). You will play a key role in strategic planning and execution to achieve coffee sustainability targets. This includes managing sourcing capacity, ensuring target delivery through performance-based sourcing, providing visibility on sustainability targets and budgets, and leading key transformative projects.

What Will Be Your Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategy & Decision Support
    Co-piloting the regional coffee strategy, ensuring alignment with global objectives.
    Consolidate data and insights for informed decision-making.
    Co-design dashboards for strategic planning.
  2. Operational Execution
    Implement performance-based sourcing and ensure supplier compliance on sustainability goals.
    Oversee digital traceability deployment and supplier ESG performance.
    Manage budget execution and ensure alignment with HQ targets.
    Develop and contribute to strategic communication for key coffee initiatives.
  3. Innovation & Funding
    Support the development of business cases with HQ.
    Identify and secure funding opportunities for sustainability projects.
    Consolidate learnings from pilot projects to drive innovation.
  4. Management & Engagement
    Lead monthly operational reviews and represent the region in HQ meetings.
    Ensure alignment between regional and global Nestlé coffee brands strategies.
    Engage with local institutions for advocacy and partnerships.
    Create LinkedIn posts on key outcomes/events in the region relating to Nespresso Sustainability and coffee farms when relevant.

What Your Experience Should Include
  1. Master’s degree in business management or equivalent.
  2. Min 7 years of professional experience with strong business acumen.
  3. Successful experiences in business transformation.
  4. Proven records in corporate stakeholder management, strategy definition, and implementation.
  5. Passion for and knowledge of sustainability and coffee.
  6. Strong project management & communication skills.
  7. Demonstrate leadership to build structuring tools and processes for change management.
  8. Strong team spirit with ability in collective thinking and engagement of all members involved as one team.
  9. Strong adaptability to work with dynamic cultures and different working styles.
  10. Credibility to coordinate business with multidisciplinary teams.
  11. Proven ability to coach and develop people.
  12. Expertise in sustainable sourcing or in agricultural related activities would be a plus.
