Main Objective / Job Summary:
As a Cobbler, you will be at the heart of our mission to provide world-class service and craftsmanship. You will be responsible for shoe repair and customization services that align with our sustainability strategy and customer-centric approach. You will collaborate closely with both clients and store teams to deliver a personalized and high-quality experience that breathes new life into each product.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales & Client Experience
Welcome clients with warmth and authenticity, creating an inclusive and premium retail experience.
Deliver expert shoe repair services, including stitching, cleaning, disinfection, stain/water repellent treatments, and full restoration work.
Offer bespoke customization and remake services, enabling clients to personalize their footwear in a meaningful way.
Support in pre- and post-sale activities such as inventory checks, stock management, and client follow-up to enhance customer loyalty.
Ensure accurate client registration in our app/system to support tailored client engagement and profiling.
Brand & Product
Communicate the brand's identity and heritage passionately and authentically to clients.
Infuse brand values into the co-creation process of customized pieces while maintaining the aesthetic and integrity of the collection.
Maintain the cobbler station in excellent condition, aligned with visual merchandising and operational standards.
Operations & Compliance
Assist with daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, stockroom management, and adherence to compliance regulations.
Follow GDPR and health & safety guidelines meticulously.
Use digital tools and systems effectively to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
Proficient in English; other language skills are a plus.
Previous experience in retail or customer service is an advantage.
At least 1 year of hands-on experience in shoemaking and shoe repair.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Good time management and ability to multitask effectively.
