Job Description

Set up precision machines including tool fabrication, CNC machine programming and ensure that parts are made to specification. Perform regular in-process inspection of parts once machines are set and running. Troubleshoot process or product problems in order to minimize production downtime and achieve product quality.

Requirements:

• Set-up and operate conventional and CNC turning, lathe or grinding machines.
• Monitor process/machines and troubleshoot/report any deviations to respective personnel.
• Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions.
• Ensure that machines and tools are properly taken care of and maintained.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
