Cloud Security Engineer

Are you an experienced Cyber Security professional with strong Cloud Security experience? If so, you could be the Cloud Security Engineer our client is looking for to join their team! As Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Cloud Security Architecture & Design: Design and implement secure cloud architectures, incorporating best practices for identity and access management (IAM), network security, data protection, and vulnerability management.
• Security Implementation & Hardening: Implement and configure security tools and services (e.g., security groups, network access control lists, encryption, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM) to harden our cloud environment.
• Vulnerability Management & Threat Detection: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, monitor security logs and alerts, and respond to security incidents.
• Automation & Orchestration: Automate security tasks and processes using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools and scripting languages.
• Incident Response: Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and remediation.
• Cloud Security Tooling: Evaluate and implement new cloud security tools and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud security engineering or architecture.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their security services.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, encryption).
