Cloud Operations Manager

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Performance Optimisation: Monitor and optimise cloud resources to meet performance, availability, and capacity requirements, and ensure efficient resource utilisation.
• Incident Management: Lead and coordinate incident response, including root cause analysis, post-incident reviews, and proactive measures to prevent recurrence.
• Security and compliance: Implement and enforce security controls, compliance measures, and best practices to ensure the security and integrity of cloud environments and data.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with cloud service providers, negotiate contracts, and stay informed about new services and features to optimise cloud operations.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of cloud operations and infrastructure professionals, providing guidance, support and professional development opportunities.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement through the implementation of best practices, automation, and the adoption of new cloud technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
